Campers will be emersed in the Spanish language. Basic vocabulary: greetings, numbers, colors, shapes & animal vocabulary will be taught. 

We will explore and create Latin Art from Latin American Countries.

Campers will be immersed into the wonderful world of clay & pottery. We will explore different techniques to create bowls, vases and sculptures. Pinch pots, molding/shaping, & decorating. 

Campers will learn to bake breads, muffins, cupcakes and cookies by  learning to follow simple instructions & tools. We will cover topics like using real ingredients, fresh fruit, and herbs from the garden. Campers will start their own portable herb garden.  

Campers will learn and practice the necessary techniques for drawing & painting. We will explore different medians pencils, pencils, charcoal & chalk for drawing. We will explore different types of paint strokes, designs & flows: watercolor, acrylic & explore nature paint.

Campers will learn a variety of textile arts: weaving, rug making, macramé. Learn some of the history of how yarn and fabric is made...and ways that they can create beautiful art with recycled materials.  

Campers will be immersed in the Spanish language. We will explore vocabulary associated with things in the home, school & food. We will practice asking and answering questions, descriptive words and sentence formation. We will also continue to explore Latin artists by creating latin art pieces.
